Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter DLC: Editions, Season Pass, and How to Access

GungHo and Falcom released Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter across PS5, Switch 2, Switch, and Steam with multiple editions (base, Digital Deluxe, and others). The Season Pass ($24.99) unlocks all paid costumes and attachment items, with DLC items also purchasable individually starting Sept 17, 2026; consumables are not included. Switch 2 players can’t get the Digital Deluxe Edition and must use the Switch 1 Deluxe Edition upgrade path. DLC is accessed in-game via the Item menu under the DLC tab, with costumes equipped in the Costume menu and orbment designs via Change Cover. Some extras are not planned for Steam release, and new DLC items may be added later; if DLC capacity is full, items may be discarded.

PC and PS5 Reign in Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, Switch Ports Struggle

A cross‑platform test finds Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter looks and runs best on PC Steam and PS5 (with PS5 Pro benefits and a 120fps mode via VRR); Switch 2 and Switch 1 ports lag behind, with Switch 2 Edition feeling rushed. Handhelds like Steam Deck and ROG Ally deliver solid portable visuals with upscaling. For TV play, PC or PS5 is the preferred option, while portable players should lean toward Steam Deck/ROG Ally; the Switch 2 edition remains the weakest link.
