No Charges for Mississippi Police Sergeant Who Shot Unarmed 11-Year-Old Boy
A grand jury in Mississippi has declined to indict a police officer who shot and wounded an unarmed 11-year-old boy during a domestic dispute. The officer, Indianola Police Sgt. Greg Capers, was found not to have engaged in criminal conduct. The boy, Aderrien Murry, suffered serious injuries from the gunshot wound and was hospitalized for five days.
