Historic Israeli Minister Leads Delegation to Saudi Arabia
Israeli Tourism Minister Haim Katz has become the first Israeli minister to lead a delegation to Saudi Arabia, attending a United Nations World Tourism Organization event. Katz's visit comes as Israel and Saudi Arabia appear to be moving closer to a normalization deal, with the US actively engaging both countries. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has hinted at a historic deal with Saudi Arabia, while Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman has expressed that normalization is getting closer. Other Israeli ministers, including Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi and Knesset Economic Affairs Committee chairman David Bitan, are also set to visit Saudi Arabia in the coming weeks.
