"Delaware's View of the Updated Eclipse Path of Totality"
The path of totality for the total solar eclipse on April 8 has been updated based on new calculations, resulting in a narrower path than previously reported. Delaware remains outside of the main eclipse path and will only experience a partial eclipse. The updated path of totality runs from Mexico to the United States to Canada, with areas near it experiencing a partial eclipse. The new map uses updated figures for the sun's radius to more accurately depict where totality will fall, resulting in some cities previously thought to be in the main path now being slightly outside of it.
