
Second U.S. Soldier’s Remains Recovered After Morocco Exercise
Remains of Specialist Mariyah Symone Collington, the second U.S. Army soldier missing during the Africa Lion exercises in Morocco, have been recovered and transported to Moulay El Hassan Military Hospital in Guelmim, ending a multinational search that deployed air, naval and AI assets and involved more than 1,000 personnel. Collington, 19, from Florida, served as an air-defense crewmember with the 5th Battalion, 4th Air Defense Artillery Regiment. Earlier, remains of 1st Lt Kendrick Lamont Key Jr. were recovered; the incident occurred during the joint exercise with partner nations ongoing since May 2.
