A New York Times visual investigation using satellite and ground imagery shows Iran hit at least nine US-linked sites across Jordan, Kuwait and other parts of the Middle East over two weeks, damaging drone shelters, radar systems, and living/working quarters. The attack on Jordan’s Muwaffaq Salti Air Base left four US soldiers dead, while Kuwait’s Ahmad al-Jaber Air Base and other sites sustained damage; about a dozen US troops were injured and flown to a German military hospital for treatment. US officials declined to comment on satellite imagery, with the NYT corroborating the findings through additional footage and blurred imagery from NASA/ESA.
