
Two Milligan Cyclists Die as Car Strikes Training Team in Tennessee
Two Milligan University cyclists, Haylan Engdahl and Brayden Rogers, were killed and seven other riders were injured when a car struck their training peloton on Highway 19 near Hampton, Tennessee. The 69-year-old driver, John Benfield of Newland, North Carolina, has been charged with two counts of vehicular homicide and five counts of aggravated assault as authorities investigate; several riders remained hospitalized, with some in critical condition.
