Modena car-ramming attack leaves eight injured, attacker detained
A man in Modena drove a car into pedestrians, injuring eight (four seriously) before bystanders detained him; he then brandished a knife. Authorities are investigating whether it was a premeditated attack, with Prime Minister Meloni calling it extremely serious and the mayor warning it would be more serious if confirmed as premeditated. The suspect, Italian-born in Bergamo with Maghrebi origins, was named as Salim El Koudri by Salvini.
