Gears of War: E-Day is retooling multiplayer by largely removing wall bouncing after a full Unreal Engine 5 rebuild, adding jumping and a traditional sprint with slide-into-cover while keeping some wall-canceling options. The change aims for a tighter, chaos-driven cover shooter experience and the game releases October 6 on Xbox and PC (not PS5).
