Wife’s quick grip saves husband as Ryanair window shatters mid-flight
A Ryanair Malta Air flight from Thessaloniki to Memmingen depressurized when a window shattered after an engine failure; Svetlana Grković held onto her husband Ljubisa Karović’s legs while two passengers helped pull him back inside as he was partially outside for minutes. He is seriously injured and hospitalized; the plane returned to Thessaloniki and later continued to Memmingen on a replacement aircraft, with the incident under investigation.
