Packers’ Cutdown Day: Winners, Losers and a 53-Man Shuffle
Green Bay trimmed the roster from 91 to 53 in a whirlwind Cutdown Day that also involved trades and Josh Jacobs's Commissioner Exempt List status. The Packers produced clear winners (QB Kyle McCord, RB MarShawn Lloyd, RB Kaleb Johnson, WR J. Michael Sturdivant, OL John Williams, DT Anthony Campbell, NT Jonathan Ford, CB Kamal Hadden) and notable losers (RB Pierre Strong, NT Nazir Stackhouse, S Mark Perry, LS Cal Adomitis, OL Darian Kinnard). Many released players will land on practice squads or elsewhere, but the 53-man group sets the tone for Green Bay's season.
