UBS Expands China Onshore Wealth and Asset Management Operations

UBS Group AG plans to expand its wealth and asset management business in China, viewing the country as a key strategic global market despite the economic slowdown and lack of deals affecting other financial institutions. The bank aims to grow its onshore wealth and asset management platforms in China, according to Eugene Qian, the China country head for UBS.
