TL;DR

McDonald's has added a new limited-time McFlurry flavor to its dessert menu - the strawberry shortcake McFlurry. The dessert consists of vanilla soft serve ice cream with shortbread crumbles and strawberry-flavored "clusters." While McDonald's dessert options are sparse in the US, this new McFlurry flavor is a departure from the norm and evokes classic Americana.
