Verizon rolls out a simple, flat-rate plan starting at $30 for new customers

Verizon is launching a Simplicity flat-rate plan that starts at $30 per month for new customers (and $45 for existing ones), with activation and upgrade fees dropped if customers enroll in a new loyalty program via the My Verizon app. The plan offers one fixed per-line price, unlimited 5G ultrawideband, 10GB of mobile hotspot data, roaming in Canada and Mexico, and satellite texting, plus optional home internet for $35/month and bundled streaming services at add-on costs. The $30 introductory price is an autopay/carrier-switching promotional offer, and Verizon also unveiled a Verizon One subscription for $70/month that combines unlimited 5G and home internet.
