Psychedelic mushrooms briefly revive speech in late-stage Alzheimer's case

A case report in Frontiers in Neuroscience describes an elderly woman with advanced Alzheimer’s disease who, after two sessions of psilocybin-containing mushrooms, spontaneously regained autobiographical speech, showed improved memory recall, continence, and mobility, and engaged more emotionally.
