US authorities dismantle elite Russian spy tool and malware network.

The FBI has disabled a suite of malware used by Russia's FSB security service against an unknown number of American computers. The malware, known as Snake, is believed to be the premier espionage tool of the FSB and was created by the notorious hacking group Turla. The move is hoped to deal a death blow to one of Russia's leading cyber spying programs.
