The federal judge overseeing the First Amendment lawsuit filed by Disney Parks against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and others has disqualified himself due to a conflict of interest. Chief U.S. District Judge Mark Walker revealed that a relative of his owns 30 shares of Disney stock. The governor's lawyers had previously filed a motion to disqualify Walker, citing bias claims. However, the judge called DeSantis' arguments "without merit." The lawsuit was filed by Disney in April, claiming violations of free speech and the contracts clause.
