Rare T. rex skeleton up for auction expected to fetch millions.

A composite T. rex skeleton, named "Trinity," made up of 293 bones from three sites in the US, is going up for auction in Switzerland and is expected to fetch between $5.6-$8.9 million. The restored fossil is 11.6 meters long and 3.9 meters high, with more than half of the original bone material. The skull is particularly rare and well-preserved, with all bones originating from the same specimen. This marks the first time such a T. rex skeleton has gone up for auction in Europe.
