Top Spots for Viewing Next Year's Solar Eclipse Revealed
TL;DR
A total solar eclipse will be visible in the Valley on April 8, 2024, with Liberty Township and places northwest in Trumbull and Mercer counties seeing the full show. The eclipse will start at 1:30 p.m. and hit around 3:16 p.m. It will be more dramatic than the eclipse in 2017, and safety equipment is necessary to prevent the bright sun from blinding those who choose to watch. The next total solar eclipse for the area won’t come until 2099.
