"First Frost Alert: Prepare for Chilly Mornings Ahead"

Southern Lower Michigan is expected to experience its first frost early next week, with temperatures dropping to 35 degrees or lower. The cold weather will likely kill off sensitive plants, but it is not expected to be a killing freeze. Residents are advised to pick any remaining tomatoes before Sunday afternoon to avoid damage.
