Hollywood residents face historic flooding and rescue efforts.

Hollywood residents and mobile homeowners are dealing with flooded streets and knee-high water levels after torrential rainfall hit Broward County, dumping 15 to 20 inches of rain in the area. The severe flooding has left cars stranded and some people unable to go to work. Kayakers were spotted rowing and people were seen swimming in lakes near the mobile home community. The City of Hollywood is offering free parking at four public parking garages in anticipation of more rain this afternoon.
