Midwest Braces for Summer Heat as West Prepares for Snowstorm
TL;DR
Unusual weather patterns are affecting the United States, with record heat in the Midwest allowing for outdoor activities while blinding snow hits the Northwest. Chicago is experiencing unseasonably warm temperatures, but a powerful storm is expected to bring winter conditions to the central US. The warm weather has led to the reopening of a golf course in Wisconsin and increased fire risk across the Great Plains, while concerns about climate change and its impact on agriculture are raised.
