Minnesota Braces for Winter Storm with Snow and Thunderstorms in the Forecast.

A winter storm watch has been issued for parts of Minnesota, including the Twin Cities, as a storm is set to bring rain and some snow on Friday. The watch is in effect starting Friday night into Saturday morning and includes parts of central and southern Minnesota. The storm system will bring rain and thunderstorms on Friday afternoon, with heavy snow possible on the backside of the storm system Friday night. It's possible to see between two and four inches of snow in the metro, with higher totals in some localized areas.
