Houston is expected to experience severe weather with heavy downpours, damaging winds, hail, and a small tornado threat late Thursday night into early Friday morning. The highest risk for flooding will be just north of Houston, while areas farther north such as Huntsville and Livingston will have the biggest flood threat. The chilly air will stick around through early next week, which means a cool start to the spring season.
