Power Outages Surge as Sunday Storms Hit

Strong thunderstorms in St. Louis on Sunday caused power outages for approximately 23,000 residents, with the majority of outages reported in Jefferson County and westerly St. Louis County. Damaging winds reached 60 mph, and more severe thunderstorms are expected later tonight, bringing hail and strong winds. The weather pattern of storms and dry, warm days will continue throughout the week.
