The Triangle area in North Carolina is expected to experience very hot and humid conditions with temperatures surging into the mid-90s and feels-like temperatures reaching as high as 110. A heat advisory will be in effect on Monday, and there is a level 2/5 risk of severe storms in the evening and night, with the main threats being damaging winds and large hail. Flash flooding, damaging winds, and hail are possible with the storms.
