"Severe Storms and Flood Watch: Chicago Braces for Heavy Rain and Delays"

A round of potentially severe weather and heavy rain is moving through the Chicago area, with a Flood Watch in effect for several counties in Illinois and Indiana. The storms could produce flash flooding, damaging winds, and one to two inches of rain per hour. Areas to the south and west of the city are at a level 2 risk for severe weather. The rain comes as some areas are still recovering from flooded basements and roads from storms last week.
