Severe storms forecasted for North Texas Wednesday.

North Texas is under an Enhanced Risk for severe weather on Wednesday, with damaging winds, large hail, and powerful tornadoes possible. Scattered showers and storms will continue through the early-to-mid afternoon, with the greatest threat for severe weather arriving between 1 and 10 p.m. Flash flooding is also possible. A few storms will linger tonight, but most of the activity should be east and southeast of the area. On Thursday, a few isolated showers are possible, with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the low 70s. The CBS News Texas weather team has also issued an alert for Friday.
