"Severe Storms Threaten Midwest and Southern US This Week"

The Chicago area is forecasted to experience severe weather on Tuesday and Wednesday, with the risk of severe storms potentially bringing strong winds, hail, and tornadoes. Areas to the west and northwest of the city are at an enhanced risk of severe weather, with the rest of the area at a slight risk for severe storms. Another round of strong storms could move in on Wednesday morning. Over 80 tornadoes have ripped through 14 states in the last several days, with Illinois being the hardest hit with 22 tornadoes.
