Severe weather threat looms over Michigan and Iowa.

Parts of Michigan are at risk for severe weather on Sunday, with damaging wind gusts over 50 mph and hail measuring an inch or larger possible for the lower half of the Lower Peninsula. The main timeframe for this threat is 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a weak, isolated tornado also possible. Heavy, localized downpours and power outages are also possible.
