Severe Weather Threatens Areas Recently Hit by Tornadoes Again This Weekend

Over 50 million people in the Midwest are under the threat of severe storms, including large hail and damaging gusts, this weekend. Some areas are still recovering from recent tornadoes. Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana, and east Texas are expected to see potential hail storms, with hailstones larger than golf balls. Flash flooding is also possible due to already saturated soils. The storms are associated with a low-pressure system that will track eastward, bringing rain to the Ohio Valley and the potential for severe storms across the Southeast on Sunday. South Florida is also at risk of flash flooding due to recent rainfall.
