Severe weather warnings issued for Colorado, including potential for apple-sized hail and tornadoes.

Severe storms are expected to hit the Denver area and Eastern Plains of Colorado, with the National Weather Service issuing a severe thunderstorm warning until 8 p.m. The warning area includes threats of tornadoes and widespread hail the size of apples. Reports of multiple tornadoes have already been received, but there have been no reports of damages or injuries. A flood watch will be in effect for most of the plains south of the South Platte River until 6 a.m. Thursday. Temperatures will cool a bit by Thursday and we'll see more afternoon thunderstorms.
