Southern US Braces for Severe Storms and Hail Threats.

Millions in north-central Texas, including the Dallas-Fort Worth area, are at risk of severe thunderstorms bringing damaging winds, large hail, and the possibility of tornadoes. The Storm Prediction Center has issued an enhanced risk of severe thunderstorms alert for the area. Other parts of southern Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and the Florida Panhandle are also at risk. The severe weather threat comes as another storm system triggered tornado reports, gusty winds, and dangerously large hail in Texas and Florida this week. About 56 million people in the South and Mid-Atlantic are under thunderstorm risks.
