Storms wreak havoc across Ohio, causing damage, flooding, and power outages

Intense thunderstorms with wind gusts up to 80 mph caused damage, large hail, and flooding in Northeast Ohio. Residents were advised to stay indoors until thunderstorm warnings and watches, as well as tornado warnings, expired. Mario Innocenzi captured video of powerful winds in Mentor, causing tree branches to shear and power outages. Flooding occurred in the Lakewood/Cleveland area, including on Interstate 90 and near Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
