Central Ohio is expected to receive much-needed rain on Sunday, with thunderstorms expected later in the day. The southern and eastern parts of the state may experience worse thunderstorms. The rain could continue into Monday morning, with at least an inch of rain expected. While the state has been experiencing drought-like conditions, too much rain on dry soils can also be problematic. Temperatures will be slightly lower than average early in the week before warming up to around 80 degrees on Wednesday.
