Summer heatwave brings poor air quality alerts across Minnesota.

Southern Minnesota will continue to experience heat and reduced air quality due to ozone until Friday. Rain chances will slowly expand eastward into the weekend, with northern and northwestern Minnesota having the best chance of receiving over an inch of rain. Severe weather is possible in southern Minnesota on Saturday. After the system moves out, temperatures will cool down early next week.
