Tropical Storm Alberto made landfall near Tampico, Mexico, causing flash floods and fatalities in Nuevo León and Coahuila states. Despite minimal impact in Tampico, the storm's broad reach led to significant coastal flooding in Texas, particularly in Galveston. Another potential tropical disturbance is forming in the Bay of Campeche, with a high chance of following a similar path to Alberto. Additionally, a disturbance called Invest 92L near the Bahamas may develop into a tropical depression or minimal tropical storm, potentially affecting the Southeast U.S. coast.
