Weather Update: Rainy Monday followed by a warm and sunny week

Lingering showers are expected on Monday following significant rainfall in southern Minnesota. Sunshine will return on Tuesday, with temperatures reaching the 70s and low 80s. By Wednesday, temperatures will warm up into the upper 80s to near 90 degrees, accompanied by a chance of showers and thunderstorms. There is a slight risk of severe weather on Wednesday in parts of east central Minnesota and western Wisconsin. The weekend will bring even hotter temperatures, with the possibility of reaching 90 degrees.
