Winter Storm Causes Chaos on Minnesota Roads

Overnight snowfall in Minnesota caused difficult driving conditions, leading to numerous crashes and delays on highways and bus routes. The Minnesota State Patrol reported 181 crashes, 13 jackknifed semis, and 121 spinouts or vehicles in the ditch. Metro Transit experienced delays on more than half of its bus routes. The metro area received 1 to 3 inches of snow, with higher amounts in some areas. Winter weather advisories continue for parts of northwest Wisconsin.
