"Discovery of Young, Warm Jupiter-like Exoplanet"

Astronomers have discovered a new exoplanet, TOI-4862 b, similar in size and mass to Jupiter, orbiting a young G-type star located 762 light years away. The planet has a moderately eccentric orbit and is one of the youngest warm Jupiters found so far. Its heavy element mass fraction and enrichment make it metal-enriched compared to its host star. The discovery was made using data from NASA's TESS and other ground-based observatories, and the researchers propose further investigation to understand the evolution timescale and composition of this interesting system.
