Earth in the Crosshairs: Supermassive Blackhole Sends Powerful Radiation

A team of international astronomers have discovered that a supermassive black hole in the center of a galaxy, PBC J2333.9-2343, has changed direction and is now pointing towards Earth, making it a "blazar". Blazars are considered to be one of the most powerful phenomena in the Universe and emit high-energy radiation. The cause of the change in direction is unknown, but some astronomers believe it may have collided with another galaxy. The effect of the black hole's direction on our galaxy is also unclear.
