Scientists propose that tiny black holes, known as primordial black holes, could be lurking inside stars, gradually consuming them from within. These black holes, formed shortly after the Big Bang, could explain the extra gravity attributed to dark matter. Researchers conducted simulations and found that while the smallest black holes would have difficulty growing, larger ones could devour a star's core, creating a new type of star called a Hawking star.
