A study conducted on wild gray mouse lemurs found that both high cognitive abilities and exploratory behavior are linked to increased lifespan. The research involved cognitive and personality tests administered to 198 lemurs, revealing that those with superior cognitive performance exhibited less exploratory behavior, while more explorative lemurs had higher weights, likely due to their ability to find food more efficiently. The study suggests that being either smart or exhibiting good physical condition and exploratory behavior can lead to a longer lifespan.
