"Argentina Unveils New Cretaceous-Era Titanosaur Species"

A new species of titanosaurian sauropod, named Inawentu oslatus, has been discovered in Patagonia, Argentina. This dinosaur lived during the Late Cretaceous epoch, approximately 86 million years ago, and exhibited traits similar to rebbachisaurid sauropods. The findings suggest a faunal turnover in Gondwanan continental ecosystems and low-browsing dietary habits in sauropod dinosaurs during the post-Turonian period. The discovery sheds light on the diversity and adaptations of sauropod dinosaurs during the Late Mesozoic era.
