Adam Driver's Concerns: NASA's Response to Earth's Asteroid Threat

Actor Adam Driver, star of the new movie "65," spoke with NASA experts about the threat of asteroids to Earth. NASA's Near-Earth Object Observations Program manager, Kelly Fast, explained that while large asteroids like the one that killed the dinosaurs have mostly been found, there are still undiscovered near-Earth asteroids that could cause significant damage. Fast also discussed NASA's Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) and the importance of early detection. Driver also asked about NASA's first asteroid sample return mission, OSIRIS-REx, which is set to return a sample from the near-Earth asteroid Bennu in 2023.
