Euclid: Europe's Dark Universe Telescope Launches to Illuminate the Unknown

The Euclid telescope, a €1.4bn mission led by the European Space Agency (ESA), is set to launch from Florida on a mission to map the cosmos and unravel the mysteries of dark matter and dark energy. Over a six-year period, Euclid will create a 3D map of the Universe, aiming to understand the distribution and properties of dark matter and investigate the accelerating expansion caused by dark energy.
