Five Aligned Galaxies Defy Universe Models

Astronomers have discovered a group of five dwarf galaxies aligned in a near-straight line, challenging the cold dark matter (CDM) theory, which predicts disordered galaxy groupings. This unusual alignment and shared rotational direction suggest a possible explanation involving warm dark matter (WDM), a theoretical alternative to CDM. The galaxies, located 117 million light-years away, may have formed from the same gas clump, contradicting CDM predictions. Further observations are needed to confirm this alignment and explore WDM's role in cosmic structure formation.
