Testing Einstein's Theory: Time Distortions in Space Under Scrutiny

Scientists have proposed a new method to test Einstein's theory of general relativity by measuring the distortion of time. This method could help investigate if general relativity can account for dark matter and the accelerating expansion of the universe due to dark energy. By measuring redshift caused by light attempting to climb out of a gravitational well, researchers can obtain a measurement of the distortion of time. This method could also test Euler's formula and whether dark matter obeys it. Future missions like the Euclid telescope and the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument could employ this method to test two fundamental laws.
