"China and India Compete in Solar System Exploration and Resource Utilization"

Chinese scientist Wang Wei has proposed a four-stage roadmap called Tiangong Kaiwu for space resource utilization, aiming to span the entire solar system by 2100. The roadmap includes developing water-ice resource facilities on the moon, expanding to near-Earth asteroids, Mars, main-belt asteroids, and Jupiter's moons. It envisions establishing supply routes and chains using gravitationally balanced nodes and requires massive resource infrastructure, breakthroughs in technology, and low-cost returns to Earth. While not an approved government plan, the proposal reflects long-term visions for space exploration and exploitation in China.
