China's Mars rover discovers signs of water activity but may never wake up.

China's Zhurong rover on Mars may not be able to restart itself after a longer-than-expected hibernation due to dust accumulation on its solar panels, according to the Planetary Exploration of China. The rover has already operated on Mars for 358 sols, beating its target of 90 days. China's next Mars mission, Tianwen 3, will be launched in 2028 and deliver samples to Earth in 2030 or 2031. Meanwhile, NASA's Mars Sample Return campaign will bring rock samples to Earth in 2033.
